Book 8 - Complete

After finishing the Chobits series, I have thought of a question. However, the only person who could answer the question is Johnathin, and unfortunatly, Johnathin does not read my livejournal. Anywhy, highlight below if you want to see the question (spoilers?):
What will happen to Chi when Hideki dies of old age? Isn't she immortal?

I belive that in reality chi has a shorter life span than hideki. Chi is built upon mechanical and electronic features. The most volitile of all of these things is her hard drive. These tend to go bad in 5-10 years and we could assume because it is mechanical that it too will some day go out. The safest electronic storage system is a gold optical disc. This has a life span of 100 years. In reality chi's life span given advances in technology is probobly about 20 years
